St. Christopher’s hospice posted a lovely video on their website celebrating their new education and office building, designed by MillsPower. The video features Phyllida and Mark talking about the design process, in the rooftop garden.
It is a pleasure to see the completed building after seven long years of collaboration with St. Christopher’s Hospice. The design process started with interviewing the staff, and now it is heart-warming to see them filling the space with life and activities. Their comments towards the end of the video demonstrate that we achieved what we set out to design: “When I walked in, I thought WOW! … It is relaxing … Welcoming … Just a pleasure to be in!”
We have been really privileged to work with such a wise and humane organisation and realise their vision for education, training and care.
