We just completed construction information for this lovely little single story side extension for a terraced house in Tottenham.
Tight site and tight budget doesn’t mean you can’t play with lights, materials, roof shapes and moments. Phyllida’s sketches of our proposal, drawn in Adobe Fresco explore a ‘simple move’ to unify the existing and extension parts of the room, while creating lovely moments, like a place to sit and connect the inside and the outside.
Our client loves self-building and it was exciting and fun to work closely with her developing ideas. She will stain the plywood internal lining herself. We can’t wait to see the results.
