Jamacia Wharf Creatives
Workspace Reworked

2012 saw completion of workspaces for Pretty, a digital design studio, to create an atmosphere of productivity with a flexible layout and readily available storage equipment and resources in a Listed Victorian warehouse.

We worked closely with the Pretty directors. This included careful selection of furniture and lighting to sit alongside bespoke joinery, with discreet cable management. The glazed screen of the meeting room maintains visual continuity across the studio, whilst providing space for confidential discussion and ensuring a focussed working environment for digital technicians and coders. An unbroken horizon of pin-board unifies the diverse workstations and provides an essential place for source material.

We had a very enjoyable creative dialogue with our clients. With them we developed the crisp two-tone livery of black chairs and ply-edged white formica desks alongside the more familiar scrubbed brickwork of the existing warehouse.
